We are proud to announce that Maria Vigul, Senior Manager at JLK Rosenberger, has been nominated and elected as Vice President on the Los Angeles Chapter of the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA) board for the 2024-2025 term.

Maria previously served a 2-year term as a Director on the chapter’s board. The Los Angeles Chapter plays a vital role in implementing CalCPA’s policies and programs at the local level for the benefit of its members and the accounting profession. As Vice President, Maria will regularly attend chapter board meetings and CalCPA meetings and participate in chapter events.

This prestigious nomination recognizes Maria’s leadership and dedication to the accounting profession. As a member of the board, she will help shape the direction of the Los Angeles CalCPA chapter over the coming year.

The CalCPA chapter board positions include President, First Vice President (President-elect), 1-3 Vice Presidents, Secretary/Treasurer, and Immediate Past President. There is an assumed progression where Vice Presidents can advance to other leadership roles, including Treasurer/Secretary, First Vice President, and ultimately President.

Maria and the other newly elected officers and directors will be officially installed at a formal reception on May 9th. We extend our congratulations to Maria on this well-deserved honor and achievement!
