Managing Partner of PKF Aliz Pacific Presents Plaque to New Zealand Prime Minister
We are proud that Dr Nur Bano Ali, Managing Partner of our Fiji firm, PKF aliz pacific, is a champion of women in business, being involved with or founding a number of organisations that promote this vital cause.
Recently, Dr Ali presented a plaque of recognition from Women in Business (Fiji) to the Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Arden, to mark her historic first visit to the country as part of the Women Fiji Female Leaders luncheon, where Prime Minister Arden delivered a strong message on the importance of the empowerment of girls and women in the Pacific.
A passionate advocate of equality and business, Dr Ali is President of Women in Business (Fiji), President of the Fiji Chamber of Commerce and also Chairperson of the South Pacific Stock Exchange. Three years ago, she was awarded ‘Officer of the Order of Fiji’, which is the second highest national award given by the Order of Fiji, the highest honour of the Fijian Honours system.
Dr Ali has been featured in Fiji’s leading popular general interest magazine Mai Life, where she shared with the readers her upbringing in Sigatoka and her education as a prominent professional woman on the go, women’s advocate and mother.
