PKF Africa Welcomes New Chairman and Regional Board
After completing his 3 year term as Chairman of the Africa board, Atul Shah handed over the baton to Ahmed Paruk during the Africa Regional Conference in Swakopmund, Namibia. Ahmed Paruk, Managing Partner of PKF Durban was elected as Africa’s new Regional Chairman and representative on the International Board.
Currently Managing Partner of PKF Durban, the new Chairman began his career at David Strachan & Tayler, one of the firms which later became known as PKF. He completed articles in 1995 and was admitted as a director of PKF Durban in 1999. In 2018 he became the Managing Partner of the firm. Ahmed has gained extensive experience in the audit field and business consulting.
Donald Kaye, managing partner of PKF Gambia has committed to another term on the board as the representative from West Africa and we welcome new board members, Antony Ranjan (PKF Zambia), Alpesh Vadher (PKF East Africa), and Mouafek Abada (PKF Djibouti).
The board, will focus on providing quality service, improving brand positioning and geographical coverage, as well as defining the PKF culture and building on cluster collaboration. Its aims are to ensure that PKF firms work closely together to serve international clients as one global organisation, committing to PKF’s core values while maintaining impeccable quality. It will also help PKF firms leverage their group buying power and refer clients to each other.
