PKF South Africa appoints new CEO
We are delighted to announce that PKF International member firm PKF South Africa has elected Waldek Wasowicz as its new CEO.
Having joined PKF Octagon in Johannesburg more than 20 years ago, Waldek has garnered a wealth of experience throughout his career to date. He has supported clients large and small navigate the business landscape, providing them with audit, tax and advisory services. Waldek has enjoyed a string of professional successes, including co-founding PKF Ignite (a cloud accounting platform for small businesses) and serving as Managing Partner at PKF Octagon since April 2021.
Waldek is credited with a strong global outlook, a passion for technology and a people-focused approach. Deeply committed to charitable work, Waldek believes wholeheartedly in the importance of doing good within the community and currently supports a number of charitable organisations by providing financial services pro bono.
Waldek is thrilled with his new role and is eager to drive PKF South Africa forward with its growth aspirations. He said, “I believe that we are heading into a very exciting period as PKF in South Africa.
